Of oval shape, the straight side rising to a very gently flaring rim, with a fitted oval cover surmounted by a moulded large life-size rose sprig finial, painted in shades of underglaze blue and decorated around the body with sprays of flowers, the exterior sides further decorated with moulded drapery swags tied in ribbons in underglaze blue and highlighted in gold, the rim also highlighted in gold, the cover with a band of diamond-work and a further thin band framing and surrounding the large realistically modelled rose sprig finial painted in underglaze blue and detailed in gold.
