The rounded sides rising from a flat circular base to a wide shoulder, decorated in bright shades of underglaze blue, the body with two large quatrefoil panels each containing the ‘Hundred Antiques’ motif of auspicious objects, including a ruyi sceptre, a book, a scroll, a peacock feather, a qin in its case, and censers, all reserved on a ‘cracked ice’ and hawthorn ground, a band of triangle-work around the neck, the base glazed.
