作者简介：林宝镛（1858-1925），福建晋江人。字克弘，号笙斋。光绪十一年（1885）曾从栋军统领林朝栋击败侵台法军；光绪十四年（1888）复从栋军平定彰化施九缎之变，获赏戴蓝翎，以知县补用。日治时期因任职南投办务署、公学校而定居当地。其诗、书、画兼擅，所画的白菜猫最为著名，为南投重要的艺术家，惜其诗文画作多散佚。
