A Yixing pottery teapot with pewter covering, Probably 19th century, China, With jade handle, knob and spout. The Yixing pottery is marked in the inside base with a seal mark. The pewter casing with an incised script on one side and decorated with bamboo on the other side. L 14 cm, H 10,3 cm, Some wear and surface scratches to the pewter casing. Old paint specks. A small dent to the pewter on one corner of the lid. No restoration.
