A blue and white prunus with cracked ice pattern bowl, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, The outside with a continuous pattern of prunus and the same pattern is repeated on the inside in a roundel in the base. Marked with a six character Chenghua mark but of Kangxi period. D 15,5 cm, H 8 cm, Good condition. One tiny rim frit. No other chips, no hairlines and no restoration. A few glaze imperfections (manufacturing flaws). From a Dutch collection. Bought from Sotheby s Amsterdam (Mak van Waay), on December 10th. 1984.
