Two blue and white chargers, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, A small central roundel with stylized lotus sourrounded by a large double border of flower filled cartouches against a diaper ground. Both Kangxi mark and period. D 38,5 cm, Both with a hairline and rim chips. Some glaze pops and manufacturing flaws and irregularities. On both plates there has been an attempt to restore the hairline (some grounding with sandpaper visible on the hairlines).
