A large blue and white dragon censer, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, A fine low censer of bombé form, decorated on the outside with two dragons chasing a flaming pearl, and Buddhist emblems along the top. Marked with a double blue underglaze circle. D 24 cm, H 13,5 cm, Good condition. No chips, no hairlines and no restoration. An area on the rim with glaze irregularities (manufacturing flaw) and a slight wobble (base not completely flat).
