Two jade bangles dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier. One bangle is smoothly polished, the other features a grain pattern. Dimensions are: the larger polished bangle measures 3 1/2 inches exterior diameter X 2 3/4 inches interior diameter, 8.89 cm X 6.98 cm. All measurements are approximate.

From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong. Lots 223 to 227 are from the same collection.
