Two Chinese lobed famille rose bowls with 6-character marks of Daoguang and of the period. Both bowls have scalloped edges. The smaller bowl features birds, butterflies, and flowers on the interior and exterior. The exterior has an additional register of petals with small flower designs. The interior has an additional roundel of peaches with a bat. The larger bowl has flowers on both the interior and exterior. The exterior has an additional register of petals with flower and lingzhi designs. The interior has an additional roundel with peaches and a bat. Dimensions are: the larger bowl measures 2 1/2 inches tall X 6 5/8 inches in diameter, 6.4 cm X 16.8 cm. The smaller bowl measures 2 1/4 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches in diameter, 5.7 cm X 13.3 cm.
