A hand-built and beautifully painted human effigy vessel depicting a nude seated man with features delineated in low to high relief, including genitalia between legs bent inward and hands placed on his chest. The head rises up above the front rim of the vessel and has a pinched nose, angular chin, impressed eyes, mouth, and incised curlicue ears. The cheeks are painted in red and black over the cream ground - linear tattoo marks or face paint and the remainder of the body decorated with repeating stepped, triangular, and other geometric and linear patterns.
