CHARLES FRODSHAM & CO. LONDON ancient lepine pocket watch . Ca. 1890. Case and dust cover gold 18K (gold weight more than 60g). Working, high-grade manual wound verge/fusee movement with power reserve display at 12 o'clock. Movement number 02790. Serial number 09720 (on dial). Good condition, signs of wear on the case, scratch on crystal at 6 o'clock. According manufacturer's infor from Frodsham, this is a mariage piece. Movement is from 1885-90, the age of the heavy case is unknown (hallmarks not clearly visible), but also made in London. 55mm case diameter (measured without crown).
