尼玛泽仁，男，藏族，1944年1月出生于四川省巴塘县，1962年毕业于四川美术学院民族班。为十世班禅额尔德尼.却吉坚赞亲赐的班禅画师，一级美术师，中国美协副主席，四川省美协副主席，现为全国政协委员，教科文卫体专委会委员，供职于四川省文史研究馆，为副馆长。他致力于将一千三百年的藏传佛教绘画发展成为当代艺术，是开一代新派的艺术家。2009年11月13日，尼玛泽仁被聘为中央文史研究馆馆员。
