A LARGE CHINESE EMBROIDERED 'HUNDRED BIRDS' SILK PANEL. Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. Embroidered to depict pairs of birds including peacocks, Mandarin ducks, quails and swallows, variously in flight, frolicking in a lotus pond, resting on branches, or in flight among butterflies and a range of flowering branches and trees, framed and glazed, 131 x 79cm.
