The waisted conical sides painted with four medallions alternately decorated with flower and fruits borne on leafy branches, all between a double blue band at the rim, and a further thin band at the foot, the base with a six character mark within a double square, wood stand, 4.5cm H, 8cm diameter 清雍正 斗彩杯，青花「大清雍正年制」款 The design of the present cup is drawn from a prototype of the Chenghua period. An example from the National Palace Museum is illustrated in The Far-Reaching Fragrance of Tea: the Art and Culture of Tea in Asia, 2016, cat no I-27. Here it is noted that the specific size of the piece might designate it as being either a 'big wine cup' or a small tea cup.
