A SMALL CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE JAR AND COVER. Qing Dynasty, 18th / 19th Century. Of ovoid form rising to a raised lip with a small indent, the flange of the cover with a corresponding indent, all supported on four short feet, the domed cover with a globular knob, decorated in underglaze blue and famille rose enamels with two figurative panels, and raised fruit form handles borne on scrolling floral patterns, details heightened in gilt, 6cm long.
