Mid 19th century, American. The carved dove with spread wings and tail holding an arrow in its talons and designed to be displayed from the front. SIZE: 12″ h x 25″ l (overall) x 22-1/2″ w (wingspan). CONDITION: Original gilt surfaces, nicely carved in low relief. Repair to break of proper left talon. Otherwise very good with undisturbed surfaces. Normal and expected in-use wear and abrasion. 52308-21 (700-900)
