A Georgian silver pair-cased pocket watch: the movement having a lever escapement with plain steel balance, engraved balance cock and Tompion regulation, the backplate with further engraved decoration and numbered 3374, the white enamel dial having black Arabic numerals and gold hands, the case hallmarked for silver London, 1802, along with the case maker's initials T.C for the case maker Thomas Carpenter, this design registered in August 1796, with the outer pair case similarly marked, diameter 56mm.
