JAPANESE SATSUMA CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, each having polychrome hand-painted scenes with gilt decorations, comprising a beaker-form vase featuring a tranquil ocean scene with numerous black-capped birds and sailboats, a tri-footed trinket box depicting a charming village scene to cover with mountain in background and iris flower design to interior and exterior base, a small covered jar with autumn landscape featuring pagodas, bridge, and mountain in background, and a footed dish with scalloped rim depicting numerous seated figures.
