Measurements: Height: 3.75" Width/Length: 7.75" Diameter/Depth: 7.75" Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, porcelain bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow deep body, thick, large and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The exterior decorated in peony blossom with scrolling tendril, enclosed interlocking key fret on the upper mouth rim and foot base rim. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy.
