The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow base color which contrast blue design color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under - base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Hongzhi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
