Circa 1300 AD, Possibly Mamluk or earlier Andalusian A single lantern grill with crenelated top and pieced writing and thick patina. Writing in a variant of Kufic script. The lamp could have illuminated the writing onto a wall and reminds of the popularity of shadow theatre during the Mamluk period.
