Circa 400 BC A black glazed pottery vessel with globular rounded ribbed body swelling out from a low ring foot. The lip is pinched into a trefoil pattern, creating three directions from which the contents could be poured. The handle with a protrusion on top arching from lip to the flat shoulder. Deep shiny black glaze, covering the entire surface and the bottom of the base. For related examples: Cf. the Beazley archive vases nos. 9008677, 9008678 and 9016140.
