|凤鸟尊是我国商周秦汉时期典型的青铜器造型之一。在我国古代，凤为百禽之长，掌管着天下翎毛百禽，性高洁，非甘露而不饮，非梧桐而不栖，是一种珍禽瑞鸟，是吉祥和美的象征，又因其风姿绰约而常被视为皇家女性的象征。明清时期仿古制器极为盛行，此件凤鸟尊当仿自商周时期的凤鸟尊而来，其呈立姿，鸡首，尖喙，丰胸空腹，双翅并拢身侧，背开圆孔，上置觚形杯。双足并立，长尾着地，身姿曼妙。除五官及双足铸就外，其通体以错银手法表现了项圈、双翅、尾羽和觚杯上的蝉纹，纹饰细致流畅，紊而不乱，工艺精巧细致，引人注目。其造型庄重秀美，错银富丽，既备实用之功，又难得悦目之德，还可陈设厅堂，亦藏亦乐，殊为难得。
