|鬲是我国商周秦汉时期典型青铜器造型之一。为食具。有铜质和陶质之分。此炉整体造型矮扁敦实，盘口凸唇，束颈，扁圆腹，底近平，中央铸刻长方形变体篆书“宣德年制”阳文款，下承三束腰柱足。其铜材精炼细润，熔铸流畅饱满，其口线、颈炉、腹线圆滑沉静而干练，毫无拖沓之感；入手沉实，轻叩其声清越。且通身为藏金色，颜色沉着温和而含蓄，包浆古朴自然，体量虽小却能让观者有端庄素穆之感，为传统之标准器。
