Two Chinese iron red porcelain snuff bottles dating from the 19th century. Both cylindrical bottles feature a dragon chasing a flaming pearl among clouds . The larger bottle has a 4-character mark on the bottom. Both bottles have stoppers with metal spoons. Dimensions are: the larger bottle measures 3 7/8 inches tall X 1 5/8 inches in diameter, 9.8 cm X 4.1 cm. The smaller bottle measures 3 1/8 inches tall X 1 1/8 inches in diameter, 7.9 cm X 2.9 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The larger bottle has a chip to the foot. The smaller bottle has a minuscule chip to the foot. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
