A group of four Chinese jade carvings dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier. The group includes: a cong with a wooden stand, an archer's ring carved with an 8-character inscription and coming with a wooden stand, a toggle in the shape of a gu wall vase with a 9-character inscription on the back, and an arch-shaped toggle carved with a 4-character inscription on one side and coming with a wooden stand. Dimensions are: the largest jade, the archer's ring, measures 1 inches tall X 1 1/8 inches wide, 2.5 cm X 2.9 cm, and it measures to a US ring size 8 1/4. The cong measures 1/2 inches tall X 1 inches long X 1 inches wide, 1.3 cm X 2.5 cm X 2.5 cm, and it measures to a US ring size 8 1/2. The vase measures 1 1/2 inches tall X 5/8 inches wide X 1/4 inches thick, 3.8 cm X 1.6 cm X 0.6 cm. The arc measures 2 inches tall X 1/2 inches long X 1/2 inches wide, 5.1 cm X 1.3 cm X 1.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The cong is in overall good condition. The archer's ring is in overall good condition with natural variation to the stone.
