Two Chinese jades dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier with a wooden stand. The lot contains: a plaque carved with a beast face, and a beaded toggle strand featuring alternating jade and wood beads with an arc-shaped bead at one end and 3 rings on the other. Dimensions are: the larger jade strand with the beads measures 12 1/2 inches long X 1 3/4 inches wide X 1/8 inches deep, 31.8 cm X 4.4 cm X 0.3 cm. The beast toggle measures 2 1/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches long X 1/4 inches wide, 5.7 cm X 5.7 cm X 0.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Age appropriate wear.
