A Chinese carved jade ruyi plaque with a metal box dating from the 19th century. The plaque features one boating figure in a river landscape with a peach and a pine tree. Dimensions are: the plaque alone measures 4 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches long X 1/2 inches thick at the rim, 11.4 cm X 13.3 cm X 1.3 cm. The whole box measures 2 inches tall, 5.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The plaque has chipping to the edges as well as natural variation to the stone. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
