Both he and his father closely followed the stylistic approach of Dong Qichang (1555-1636), although here he cites Zhao Mengfu as his inspiration. Highlighting the supramundane effect of the blue green palette, the artist uses gold fleck paper, adding an additional layer of texture to theposition.
