此杯盏由杯及盏托两部份组成，均铜质鎏金。其中杯作敞口，唇微撇，深腹，腹内壁光素，外壁两侧焊饰双耳，杯身以珍珠纹为地，錾刻以龙穿花纹饰，小杯敛底，下承直壁浅圈足。盏托大致呈浅碟状，弧壁，盏底中央置圈口以放置耳杯，环圈口一周錾刻龙纹，外一圈饰云凤纹，盏托折沿錾以花卉。整件拍品质地精良，金色纯粹而炫丽，纹饰精美生动，观之流光溢彩，制作精美绝伦。錾刻工艺是我国古代金工传统工艺之一。其法为用小锤敲击各种大小不同的金属錾子，在金属表面留下錾痕，形成各种不同的纹理，使单一的金属表面产生多层次的立体装饰效果。此种工艺始于春秋晚期，盛行于战国，至今依然为匠师们沿用。
