本品器形简洁素雅，敞口短颈，丰肩弧腹至底部向内折收，下承圈足，上配原盖，盖呈拱形，盖顶带钮。瓶盖及瓶身均模印饕餮纹饰，布局大气敦厚，典雅高贵，足内于中双圈内青花书“大清雍正年制”六字双行楷书款。所配的原盖可知此瓶并非插花用的花器，应为储茶之用的器皿。瓶身及盖通体饰粉青釉，此器为雍正朝创新之品，符合当朝皇帝清雅品味。此瓶釉质均匀纯净，润泽类玉，足见雍正帝对茶具之严格要求。雍正一朝制瓷，多鉴皇帝本人艺术情趣，故佳器屡出，既有独创新例，亦有典雅名器。雍正皇帝极为推崇宋瓷一色纯净的雅洁，颜色釉烧造甚多，美若七彩霓虹，斑斓夺目，因此雍正御瓷之雅不在于装饰之华丽，而胜在突出简约隽永之气质，其形优雅，其釉纯净，本品当为佳例。
