A Chinese YaoZhou Ware Ewer, having baluster shape body, with bulbous belly everted the tall cylindrical neck toward flared and banded rim, raised on a footed base. A tall curved spout flanked on the collar, extended graciously upward giving wider appearance. A looped handles giving a balance on the opposite sides. Flanked with four loop rings conforming the collar. The glaze stopping before the foot rim, revealed the pale-creme ground, with orange and grayish firing marks. Characterized by a smooth and thin glaze of a light color, covered over all with pale-olive-brown glaze.
