炉长方口，平底沿边四角圆润成四足支撑。双如意耳对称工整。腹部两面鱼子纹锦地，錾刻花鸟纹，简约灵动，鎏金点缀，雍容尔雅。马槽炉长方形貌，形似马槽得名，实则炉中棱角方正者，不同于敬天圆炉，乃礼地方炉，存世量较之前者稀少。此炉形端体正，线条刚劲，铜泽温润，闻声清脆悦耳，极具艺术性和收藏价值。
