提要：是书又名《悔少集》，内含《游仙百咏》一卷、《续游仙百咏》一卷、《再续游仙诗》一卷。汉扬雄《法言·吾子》“或问：‘吾子少而好赋?’曰：‘然，童子雕虫篆刻。’俄尔曰：‘壮夫不为也。”’汉杨修《答曹植书》：“惰家子云（扬雄字子云）老不晓事，强著一书，悔其少作。”厉鹗名其集曰《悔少集》本此。《续修四库全书提要》：“其曰《悔少集》者，盖有取乎杨修‘悔其少作’之语。以名其集也。曰游仙者，则游思呓语，杂以感慨。”
是书为刊者自存校勘本，有刊者藏印多枚，初刻初印，以赵之谦字体上板精刻，纸墨俱佳，且印本罕传，至可宝贵。又经刊者自己校勘，实属难得。
