MEISSEN Group of figures Allegory 'The Earth', 1st choice, 19th/20th c. Goddess 'Abundantia' sitting on an oval natural base with a cornucopia in her left hand, with her right arm she is leaning on a globe, on her left side is a putto poking the earth with a spade, in the foreground another putto is feeding a chicken, in the background are leafy trees, design by Johann Joachim Kaendler circa 1750, from a series 'The Four Elements', model no. 832, Bossierer number 91, h. approx. 16cm. There are restored spots on the trees, partly broken off leaves, some leaves are loose enclosed, signs of age.
