《大明嘉靖年制》六字三行楷书款 本品口沿外撇，长颈，丰肩，腹部渐收，足胫外撇，颈部模印蕉叶纹与如意纹，腹部饰饕餮纹，纹饰清晰。通体施白釉，清澈透净，柔和淡雅。饕餮纹，又称兽面纹，中国的一种传统纹饰，有浓厚的神秘色彩，有学者认为，这些神兽是氏族所祭祀的自然神或远祖神，是受神之命，降雨并带来丰收的神祇。整体造型周正大气，纹饰精美，既兼有商周彝器之庄重，又具白瓷之雅韵，实乃不可多得之佳作。虽为仿古，其目的还是要最大限度地展现美感，从各种材质中发展出新面貌来。此拍品将仿古纹饰与白釉瓷质感融于一体，别俱一格，气度不凡，实乃陈设瓷之典范。
