退思堂为清早和硕睿亲王多尔衮的睿王府堂名，死后被追夺爵名。乾隆43年恢复其子孙爵位。其时，各亲王府盛行定烧堂名款瓷器，胎、形、釉、工与皇器别无二致。此件退思堂制款斗彩水丞即为睿王府定制文房佳器。来源：2015年购自日本茧山龙泉堂。
