龙泉窑以其绝美的青瓷釉色倍受推崇，然而传世品中亦不乏米黄釉产品。所谓“入窑一色，出窑万变”，即使同出一窑的青瓷，色泽也是各有差异。黄釉通常由于窑位靠后，影响到过火面，温度偏低而造成。此碗，胎灰白，釉色黄褐，细紋片，圈足处露胎。 釉面莹润，色如蜜蜡，开片似冰裂，素有“莹润绝色赛黄玉”之称。
