款识：种学斋 |此笔筒取紫檀木暗榫拼接而成，器壁厚实，倭角接合严密，器表包浆陈润古旧。作敞口，斜直壁，下承四云足。口沿一圈起线，四面为弧，线条流畅温婉，因无赘余纹饰与雕刻，更可见紫檀流云似水般华美木质纹理。底刻：“种学斋”。整器造型朴素简洁，风格凝重精简，纹理似玉若丝，细致紧密，保存数百年至今，完好如初，实为难得。
