|观音像以铜器铸造而成，雕工自然古朴，精美。观音法相庄严，慈祥肃穆，发髻高耸，发丝根根可见。双颊丰腴，细眉阔鼻，双目微合，双手隐于其中，衣纹自然流畅，坐姿优雅，上衣飘逸轻薄，下摆垂地，极为自然，给人以慈祥、安定之感。|观音原名观世音，为佛教四大菩萨之一，据称可应声救世，化身救众生苦难，为大慈大悲的菩萨，后因避讳唐太宗李世民之名讳，故去“世”字而名“观音”。||参阅：《北京文物精粹大系——佛造像卷（上）》 北京出版社 P79，图40
