A 'luck and wisdom' famille rose wall charger, Ca. 1900-30, Late Qing or early Republic period, China, A large plate decorated in the centre with an array of scolarly objects executed in famille rose enamels and iron red. The wide border in famille noir with bats and peaches, and shou characters. Marked with a six character apocryphal Kangxi mark in underglaze blue. D 41 cm, Good condition. No damage and no restoration.
