A coral ground gilt decorated famille rose vase, 20th century, China, Marked with an iron red Qianlong seal mark but later (probably Republic period). The coral red background with two large roundels containing scenes of men playing 'go' and on the other side a meditating monk, a man with a lion dog and a traveller. Four other ruffles vignettes filled with florals. H38 cm, Glaze loss and fritting on the handles. No hairlines and no restoration.
