A Sang de Boeuf flambe brush washer, Qing dynasty, Probably 19th century, China, A low bowlwith incurved rim. The outside with a deep ox blood red glaze over a pale greyish green, the inside with a similar glaze but with a large patch of light blue (junyao style). Not marked. D 27 cm, H 8 cm, Good condition. Age crazing of the glaze and normal wear from age and use. No damage and no restoration.
