朱双大，1960年出生于常州，1987年进入苏州大学艺术系进修，1988年进入中央美术学院油画系深造四年。在美院学习期间得到中央美术学院院长靳尚谊系统精心的指导，并得到著名油画家杨红太、朝戈、冯法祀、钱绍武、赵友萍等诸位大家亲自授课。本世纪之初开始探索以西方绘画的技法，融合中国博大精深的传统文化来表现艺术。2021年逐渐形成鲜明的个人艺术风格，具有现代艺术的特色。
