Of elongated ovoid shape with a very short neck with a moulded tassled cord, the domed lid with a facetted knob with stylised kiku in openwork. The body is painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and gold with two large cartouches filled with flowering branches, blossoms and birds, and many other smaller cartouches and a variety of different patterns. Inside an old inventory number in black ink. One vase repaired to the neck, the cords have been regilded.
