“太平有象”是中国传统题材，即天下太平，五谷丰登之意。这件香熏将大象形象变形组合，极富特色。 此熏炉器形硕大，上下两部分，上部为象钮炉盖，下部为象足炉身。炉盖上镂空缠枝莲花图案，钮为一头俯卧的大象。卧象腰身上搭錾刻莲花的象衣，佩戴璎珞，十分华丽。象背上负宝瓶为钮，内有犀角、金钱、元宝等吉祥法器。炉身装饰华丽，侈口方唇，口沿一周回纹。两侧朝冠耳为上翘象鼻，炉身上高浮雕缠枝莲花图案，三象鼻足，皆佩饰璎珞。底部“大明宣德年造”六字刻款，整体铸造精细，工艺繁复，构思巧妙，造型端庄华丽，铜质精良，祥瑞之物。
