此件扳指以和阗白玉雕琢，玉质细腻温润。器作直筒形，一端弧圆，一端内凹，器表两侧阴刻连续的折带纹，中部雕饰数组团寿纹，造型十分规矩。扳指原为古人拉弓实用护具，明清时演变为豪奢饰品。整体工料俱佳，寓意吉祥，为赏玩佳品。
