此件玉鼎由大块和阗碧玉整体琢制而成，玉质细腻，色泽深沉。器呈方鼎样式，长方形口，平唇微侈，双立耳，直腹，平底，下承四柱足。器体四角皆出勾云形戟，四面各装饰一饕餮图案，四足上端亦饰饕餮纹。整器形体硕大，造型敦实，气势浑厚，为典型的清代中晚期仿商代古彝器之玉雕精品。 参考：台北故宫博物院藏，清乾隆 玉方鼎。
