此对玉碗以和阗青玉制成，灰绿色，质地细腻温润。器体造型硕大，采用大料掏挖成薄胎大碗。敞口，深腹，束腰形高圈足。造型简洁规整，口沿平滑，起线规矩，内外琢磨细致，做工一丝不苟，足部线条柔美。口沿外缘及底足处各琢饰一周回纹，外壁装饰云龙纹，数条苍龙穿梭于流云之间，十分威严霸气。碗内琢刻牡丹花卉，花朵饱满，叶片舒展，尽显富丽之态。内外通体纹饰均作描金工艺，虽为青玉而制，但品级显然不低，应为清代宫廷所造用以供奉之用。整器色泽沉稳，线条柔美，宝光盈盈，兼具欣赏和实用价值。尤其是器体之硕大，甚为少见，值得珍藏。
