Bureau, early 20th century, monumental bureau, Italy, soild walnut/walnut root and veneered, fantastic gable with sculptural carving, volutes, fluting, round arches, rich articulation, cambered and curved lines with magnificent radiance. The mirrored doors and the flap reveal a wonderful interior with small doors, drawers, and shelves. Next to the flap, two very small drawers set at an angle, high-quality veneer, lower section with three large drawers with great fittings, the sides fitted with four doors, incredible veneer pattern with marquetry.
